Two summers ago, I was a size 22 pants (42-inch waist) and a size 3XL top. Last summer, I dropped down to a size 14 pants (34-inch waist) and now wear an X-Large to 2XL top, depending on the style. Four sizes down and 40 pounds gone. Go me! So for the last few weeks I have gone through all my clothes that no longer fit me, packing them into boxes and getting them ready to donate to Goodwill. With that said, my dresser and closet are looking a little bare now, which means some retail therapy is definitely in order.
In my quest to find some fashionable summer clothes, I discovered Simons, a Canadian retailer that has it all, trendy pieces, basics, designer labels, home decor, handbags, women’s clothing, men’s clothing, pyjamas… I could go on and on! Simons, carries brands from Marc Jacobs to Ralph Lauren but also carries exclusive brands like Twik and Icone. Twik is more for a smaller fit. Contemporaine is more for a European/woman’s shape and fit. Sizing ranges from small to x-large depending on the item.
They offer a great choice of affordable, fashionable t-shirts, perfect for keeping cool on those hot days. I came across these super cute, trendy tops while surfing Simons.ca that I would like to add to my wardrobe this summer.
Aren’t these t-shirts gorgeous? How can you tell I love cami’s? Hehehe I love the airy fabrics and bright colours. Oh yes! I’m bringing out the cami’s and sleeveless tops in full force! I love these pieces, but my two favourites are the Tropical Asymmetric Cami from the Desigual Spanish collection at Contemporaine.
The price is a little steep. I don’t usually spend more than $30-$40 on a top, but as soon as I saw it, I fell in love! Plus it’s OK to splurge once in a while! I love the silver accent, metal ring strap and the tropical graphic. It screams Summer! And the Layered Lace Cami, look at it, what’s not to love? And don’t even get me started on the accessories.
Trendy pieces for women and men. Affordable prices. Frequent sales and promotions. Free shipping on orders over $50. It’s time to kick your Summer wardrobe into gear at Simons.ca
