So feminine hygiene isn’t my typical topic of conversation. But Always Infinity isn’t your typical pad. It’s made from space-age material. (Yep, you read that right!) This technology makes the pads remarkably thin and flexible, so they form to your shape. You might even forget you’re wearing one! Suddenly, the subject no one wants to talk about has everyone talking.
Always Infinity Pads
- Infinicel remains unbelievably light while absorbing up to 55% more
- The dual Flexi-Wing design fits the curvature of your underwear for secure protection
- Microdots provide super-fast absorption, while an incredibly soft cover adds comfort
I received a free sample of Always Infinity Heavy Flow Pads with Flexi-Wings to try out, as part of a campaign through BzzAgent.
I have used Always pads before, but wasn’t overly impressed with how well they held up and how I felt like I was wearing a diaper. I always seemed to have an issue with them bunching up. Even with the wings that are supposed to keep the pad in place, it would still end up moving around, which would result in leaking, especially at night. I also felt like their pads were too short for the protection I needed. So I switched to StayFree Overnight Ultra Thins. Which has been my go-to pad for the last 15 years.
This pad doesn’t look like your typical pad. I’d never seen or felt anything like it. It was strangely thin and super light. The material made me think of memory foam, only super soft textured. The Always Infinity Heavy Flow pad measures approx 26 cm long by 7 cm wide and 0.2 cm thin.
With how thin this pad is, I didn’t think it would be impressive for my flow. The majority of the time I have a pretty heavy flow, so that means sometimes have to wear overnight pads even during the day for that extra protection, sometimes in addition to a tampon. The pad consists of two layers; the top works to quickly pull down fluid to the bottom layer and the bottom layer works to absorb, distribute, and lock in the fluid. I didn’t feel the need to “double up” the protection with Always Infinity. This pad held up on it’s own, extremely well.
These pads are also very comfortable to wear, I almost didn’t feel like I had anything on. I didn’t feel like I was wearing a big ol’ diaper! The fit was great and the wings stayed in place, like they should. I really felt protected. I didn’t experience any bunching. There was zero creasing and the pad was highly flexible, always bouncing back into shape. That is something really important to me especially at night, like you’re gonna know you are leaking when you are sleeping!
The absorption for the Always Infinity line includes “Regular”, “Heavy”, and “Overnight” but the absorption performs the same for all pads. They all absorb 4X more than what you may need. The only difference is their size.
Overall the Always Infinity pad performed very well for my heavy flow. They are very soft and comfortable to wear, thin and super absorbent. I felt dry. It’s nice to stay focused on everything but your period. This pad has it all figured out! I cannot give this pad enough thumbs up. I honestly don’t know what more Always could possibly do to improve these pads. Always has redeemed themselves in my mind with this pad. The Infinity line has a new fan in me!
Pricing starts at $6.99. Available at Well.ca, drug stores and grocery retailers.
