Though there’s still snow on the ground here in Edmonton, spring is very much in the air! Warmer temps mean it’s time to bust open the windows open and let in the fresh air. During the winter, the windows in our apartment tend to freeze shut. So it’s nice we can open the windows again to help get rid of the stale winter air. The sun is shining, the snow is melting, and the birds are singing.
Our kitties are happy being able to sit in the windows again. They love to bask in the fresh air, warm sunshine and watch the world outside. While the chatter as soon as they see birds is entertaining. It also adds excitement to a new season. 😀 The first day of spring is less than a week away. So it’s the perfect time to get a head start on cleaning. Nothing is more satisfying than a fresh, clean start and spring cleaning sure helps with that.
Farewell winter, hello new spring beginnings!
The entryway into our apartment is full of clutter and winter gear. Things that should be in storage have found a new home at the front door. Our living-room is disorganized, and the kitchen could use a good deep cleaning. The biggest obstacle is our apartment entryway leading into the kitchen.
Our fur-babies spend a lot of time there; they love laying on the
Diving into deep cleaning mode, opening the windows and cranking up the tunes, is a must! For me, it helps make cleaning less daunting and more therapeutic. I start-off by tackling the most important cleaning tasks first, using the best tools for the job. It’s crazy how much dust and clutter has built up in our apartment during the winter months. When the sun shines in through our windows, I can see all the cat hair, dust bunnies
On a recent shopping trip to Canadian Tire. I picked up the Libman Tornado Mop to help me get started on spring cleaning.
You can find Libman cleaning supplies at your local Canadian Tire or Home Depot stores. The aisles are labeled making it easy to find the items you’re looking for. The Libman Tornado Mop, Wonder Mop, refill mop heads, utility buckets, brooms, dustpans, and other cleaning items from Libman were all in the same aisle, so I was able to get everything I needed to start my spring cleaning at Canadian Tire.
Embrace Life’s Messes with the Libman Tornado Mop
The Tornado Mop works great, is simple to use and easy to clean. The mop head material is a thick polyester yarn, absorbent and well designed. The wringing mechanism on the Tornado Mop is easy as pie, the unique ratchet design allows for maximum wringing without the hassle of release buttons, or the annoying tendency of a regular mop head to flip back. The ratchet wringing mechanism slides with ease and locks and holds with each twist squeezing every bit of water out. No need to worry about sopping wet floors and your hands never have to touch the mop water.
It’s no wonder the Tornado Mop is America’s bestselling mop. With a
largermop head, you can cover 50% more surface area to get the job done faster and done right. The three green bands prevent tangling while polyester yarn resists odor-causing bacteria making it the ideal mop for any surface.”
Refill Tornado mop heads are affordable and last a while when taken care of. To clean, take off the mop head and hand wash in the sink. Or put it into a mesh bag and place it in the washing machine with a load of towels on the warm cycle. The Tornado Mop is a great cleaning tool that gets the job done.
Our home feels much more clean when the floors get a good mopping! I used the Libman Tornado Mop to scrub the dirt from the linoleum floors in our entryway, kitchen and the bathroom.
