Who knew Chocolate Chip Banana Bread was so easy to make? I didn’t, until just recently. I made Chocolate Chip Banana Bread last week, for the first time all on my own. My mom used to make Banana Bread a lot when I was growing up. I always looked forward to her baking. I don’t remember if she ever added chocolate chips to her recipe, but I decided to add them into mine. I never bothered to learn how to bake
So, years later, I finally decided to give it a go once more since it had been so long since I had homemade Banana bread.
It turned out awesome!
When it finished cooling, I wanted Pete to try it, so I cut him a slice. All I heard was “Mmmm, Mmmm, Mmmmmmm.” LOL! He’s the type that if he’s eating and not doing a whole lot of talking, it’s a sure sign he’s enjoying it! But then again I think that pretty much works for all men. After all, the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. 😉
I asked him what he thought. His words: “It was a three-way tie between his Mom, his sister, and me for The Best Damn Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Ever!” Not bad for my first time, hey? So now that I know how simple it is to bake Banana bread, I will be doing it a lot more. After all, practice makes perfect. Because it was such a hit, it’s only fitting that I share my first recipe post with you.
